It’s said that up to 90% of women have stretch marks, so the chances are that if you’re reading this, they are something you’ve experienced. For a long time, stretch marks have been very difficult to treat, but the good news is we’ve finally found a solution. Enter the Plasma Pen…
What are stretch marks?
Stretch marks are thin, indented lines that appear on the skin – particularly around the breasts, stomach, hips, bum and thighs. They occur during periods of rapid growth or weight gain, such as during puberty or pregnancy. When our skin stretches, the collagen and elastin fibres supporting it can rupture, leaving indentations behind. Depending on your skin colour, these marks can be pink, red, purple, brown or silver. If you don’t like how they look, we may have the solution for you.
How does Plasma Pen Fibroblast work?
While a number of lotions and creams claim to remove stretch marks, the evidence supporting many of these is weak. We’ve found that the Plasma Pen Fibroblast, however, works well at improving the appearance of both stretch marks and loose skin. The non-invasive soft surgery gets to work on each individual stretch mark, both shrinking and tightening them by creating tiny plasma flashes between the pen and your skin. These flashes stimulate new collagen and elastin production in the area, leaving you with firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
Is it right for me?
This particular treatment is only suitable for light or white skin tones as there is a risk of developing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker skin.
