Lipofirm Pro™ works by using triple-action technology, consisting of Radio Frequency deep volumetric heating, Dynamic Muscle Activation, and pressure applied by the operator, which together work to yield maximum fat removal and lymphatic drainage, as well as skin tightening. 

What is TriLipo™ Radio Frequency? The RF energy generates heat through tissue resistance in both the dermal and subcutaneous layers. Selective and focused electro-heating of the skin stimulates and increases fat metabolism in the subcutaneous fat layer and collagen remodeling in the dermal layer. In the subcutaneous fat layer, the thermal effect accelerates the natural fat metabolism process and the release of liquid fat from the fat cells into the extracellular matrix.

What is Dynamic Muscle Activation? Drainage of the released liquid fat is accelerated by simultaneously applying internal and external pressure on the fat layer. Internally, Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA) pulses stimulate the muscle layer, causing the muscle to contract. This contraction elevates the muscle and pushes the fat cells up towards the surface.

What is applicator pressure? Simultaneously, the mechanical pressure of the applicator (from the operator) presses the skin from above. The combined internal and external pressure increases the removal of the liquid fat via accelerated lymphatic drainage. The simultaneous effect of the RF and the forced drainage results in homogeneous heating and in accelerated blood and lymph circulation that optimizes tissue oxygenation and detoxification.

In the dermal layer, focused RF energy heats the collagen fibres, causing them to contract, resulting in immediate skin tightening and smoothing. In addition, fibroblasts’ metabolism is accelerated, leading to collagen regeneration and long-term skin tightening and firming.

Some clients benefit from top-up treatments, especially if you are looking for a desired effect. We do offer a course of up to 8 treatments that are recommended to achieve the best results, but your therapist will discuss your requirements with you.

You will see visible results immediately post-treatment. The tightening of skin continues over time, with full results typically seen at 6 weeks.

To maximise the effects of your Lipofirm Pro™ treatment and the lymphatic drainage, we recommend that our clients drink plenty of water for at least 24 hours before and after each session. We also advise clients not to drink any alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.

Your appointment will take around 45 minutes per body area to complete per session.

Results are long-lasting – up to 2 years, depending on age and lifestyle. Fat reduction achieved through Lipofirm Pro™ is generally considered permanent unless there’s significant weight gain.

Yes. Lipofirm Pro™ is needle-free and pain-free.

Lipofirm Pro™ is suitable for most people. It’s not suitable for those who are pregnant, have pacemakers or electrical devices fitted, or those who suffer from hypertriglyceridemia. If you have had cancer in the last 5 years, you also will not be able to have treatment.

Here is a list of those that are not suitable for treatment: 

• All forms of cancer (can have treatment again after 5 YEARS of being all clear)
• Severe liver or kidney disease
• Pacemaker
• Pregnancy/ breastfeeding/ trying for a baby
• Diabetes, if uncontrolled
• Epilepsy, if not controlled
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease 
• (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis )
• Metal pins, plates, prosthesis, cosmetic implants in or near the treatment area
• Severe Circulatory problems or DVT
• Varicose veins in the area to be treated
• Keloid scarring

No! Unlike surgical procedures, Lipofirm Pro™ is not painful. However, the effects of the DMA treatment mean that you will feel muscles tightening and internal muscle contraction during your treatment. Clients have said that the sensation feels strange, but not painful.
